Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes was a complex development initiative by Konami, Nintendo, and Silicon Knights.  Creatively led by Hideo Kojima, Denis Dyack, and Ryuhei Kitamura.  The development of Twin Snakes was a rare collaboration between East and West that created something extraordinary.  This talk will discuss the history, development details and ultimate result of the unusual partnership which created Twin Snakes.  The discussion will examine many of the different philosophies that went into the creation of the game and why it resulted in something that was much more than a remake.
